| Went to buy a LCD TV online, payed for using PayPal and for what i would have thought everything completed, 124 in stock really cheap price, was happy to pay postage to support a business that could sell it at a cheap price in the first place.
Well the next day i had an email saying the price was incorrect, it was a mistake and the correct price was 250 dollars more. It still was cheap and i agreed to pay the difference as long as i didn't have to pay postage. They then slug me a PayPal surcharge, which is on their website on another page, wouldn't get a clear answer from them, gave me a different invoice and quote every time i spoke to them, then it was gonna take forever for them to ship the TV to me.
In the end i said no more, i want my money back and i should have gone to JB or similar and got them to match the price in the first place, i would have the TV and not have to wait a week to get my hard earned back. The manager then had a go at me saying online opportunists like make is what is killing his type of business cause we hunt around and find the cheapest price possible.
Found a few other horror stories on Whirlpool forum etc as well, but do as i did in the end, get their price and go elsewhere, they are a very useless and unprofessional business and buying off them. |
