What is HEPA Filtration?

HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter is graded by the filtration rate of 0.3 ?m sized particles, which is similar in size to that of cigarette smoke. If it filters 0.3 ?m sized particles by 95%, it is a HEPA 11 graded filter. If it filters them by 99.5% it is a HEPA 12 grade. And if it filters by 99.95%, a HEPA 13 grade.
